Hello, is it possible to upgrade the WiFi 6 to 6E using the Intel AX211 or similar?

Also, if it is possible I would like to upgrade the ram to 16gb using two 8gb sticks. Is this possible?

I don't want to take it apart unless I can go these upgrades. It's the one with the bronze cap on top of the rear stand.

  • I'm not sure about the wireless network card. However, about the ram memory, see this information:

That's good to know. Thanks. I can put two sticks of 8gb. If I can upgrade the WiFi then I'll do that at the same time.

I believe your WLAN card is a Mediatek version of the Intel AX1650x chipset. The AX211 won't work, since it uses different protocols on the bus, but the AX210 will.

According to device manager it's an Intel AX201 that's installed at the moment.

OK, if it's an AX201 installed then you need an AX211 for 6E.
