Does the Nitro 17 use the same RAM card as the Nitro 5 AN17-41?

I have a Nitro AN17-41 laptop and would like to upgrade the RAM to 32Gb, however, I can't find specs anywhere for the RAM card it uses. My guess is that it's the same as the Nitro 5 but would like to confirm before buying something and ripping the cassis open. Anyone know?

I will leave this for others to comment on.

IMO, no, the Nitro 17" AMD was only released this month and according to the media supports up to 32 GB of DDR5 5600 MHz (2x DIMMs) If you have 1X 16GB DDR5, consider adding the same module, total 2x 16, GB 5600 MHz.

While both the Acer Nitro 17 and Nitro 5 are gaming laptops within Acer's Nitro series, it's important to note that different models within the series may have varying specifications. Therefore, the RAM compatibility can differ depending on the specific configurations of the Nitro 17 and Nitro 5 models you are referring to.

To determine if the Nitro 17 and Nitro 5 use the same RAM cards, you should consult the official product specifications or documentation provided by Acer for each model. These specifications will outline the supported RAM type, capacity, and speed for each laptop.

Typically, laptops within the same series may have some degree of compatibility in terms of RAM type, such as DDR4, but the specific configurations can vary. It's always recommended to refer to the official documentation or reach out to Acer's customer support for accurate information regarding RAM compatibility between different models within the Nitro series, such as the Nitro 17 and Nitro 5.
