I have a Acer Predator Triton 700 PT715-51 that I purchased a few months ago. It is having a random shut down issue. Will turn off for no reason after anywhere between 5-30 min. mainly while watching YouTube or Netflix. If I am just browsing the internet and on Facebook or my email or any other site its fine.

I have changed the battery with an OEM battery, New thermal paste, reseated the RAM and M.2 drives, Replaced the M.2 drives, fresh install of Windows 10 and all new drivers.

I have installed OCCT and done a stress test on the CPU and GPU and I dont get a shut down from the stress testing or higher thermal temps and there is no power drop that i see during the test.

HELP!!!!

@ElDiablo71 I suggest contacting Acer support for the repair if the laptop still has a warranty. If not, try to update the BIOS to see if it helps.

Please remember to include @AnhEZ28 when you want to reply back to my comment so that I can check your response.
Thank you and have a nice day!

@AnhEZ28 It is out of warranty as these came out in 2018.  I believe I updated the BIOS also. Also, When the laptop randomly shuts down I notice that the power light on the side does not light up when I turn it back on. I have to unplug it and then reboot it for it to come back on.

Power failure/bad contact, bad GPU, a MOBO issue, you did all what can be done. Even when no longer under warranty you should still bring the laptop to Acer Services in your country for checking.
