I am trying to update my PREDATOR ORION 3000 - PO3-630 BIOS from version R01-A2 to version R01-A4.
My reason for wishing to upgrade is because of blurry terrain textures in Flight simulator, and many flightsim users that had the same problem point to updating your BIOS, which in turn will produce better CPU operations, and Flight simulator leans heavy on the CPU.
Thru registering my PO3-630 in my Acer ID I have downloaded the correct install files for the R01-A4 BIOS update. My problem is however how i should proceed.
Included in the download are four install methodes called:
EFI
ROM
UCP
WIN
Also included are appendix with install instructions for EFI, UCP and WIN, howeover, in my opinion those instruction are useless. For instance, they show screenshots of the BIOS, however, my BIOS and works looks completely different, as i have a UEFI BIOS.
Also, the appendix, but also different threads on this forum, keeps mentioning to, if you have a 64-Bit system, to use the FLASHx64.bat file and not the 32-bit FLASH.bat. My download only contains the FLASH.bat file, not the x64 version.
If anyone with knowledge on this isue could over me a helping hand by giving a point to point instruction, than that would be greatly appreciated.
