Can I use a USB-C to HDMI Adapter for dual monitors on my Aspire A515-56? If not, what can I use to have dual monitors?

Just in addtion to the above, I've got the Nitro AN515-56 and I'm using it with dual monitors, I use the HDMI port of this laptop with a 2x HDMI Splitter that connects to your laptops HDMI side port, that will make your 2x external monitors work 100%.

The only USB-C laptops that you can connect a HDMI, USB-C, DP and Thunderbolt that has these ports in a hub, and it can output a display image, is a hub that connects to a laptops Thunderbolt side port, which your AN515-56 does not have.

The Acer Nitro 5 laptops range with a side Thunderbolt side port, started from the model Nitro 5 AN515-57 which has the specs below

Here are the specs for your USB-C port:

So, no. You will need a full fledged dock to get another monitor on that port, not one of the cheap adapters.

There is a big difference between an Aspire A515-56 and a Nitro AN515-56! :)
