Recently my KA242Y monitor does not wake from sleep in the morning after being on standby during the night. If I turn off the computer for a short time during the day it will start OK. I have reset to factory settings but makes no difference. Is there a deep sleep settiing as I can't find it in the menus?

If you haven't done so already, go to this link and download the latest driver and user manual. However, sleep/awake cycles are usually automatic with signal detection or keyboard/mouse activation without additional hardware that essentially controls the monitor instead of the PC.

Unfortunately, none of this makes a difference. I notice that when it fails to respond, the power button also does not do anything. I assume everything is then frozen. If I unplug from the mains supply and wait a minute then reconnect everything is back to normal until the next time. I suppose there is something faulty within the monitor.

The monitor should be turned on first. Wait a few moments. Then turn the PC on. This might avoid the issue.
