hi i bought a Predator PH315-54 almost a year ago, when i bought it i upgrade the ssd drive and i clone the original to the new one , and format the original to use it as a backup drive, today i tried to restore to factory reset the laptop but i cant access the recovery, the upgrade ssd recovery files but when i use Alt +f10 only loads the default win 10 recovery and cant do a factory reset, is there anyway i can do this? or im stuck to be unable to restore my Windows.

If you don't have the hidden recovery volume on your SSD anymore because of a RESET (losing your files) or fresh install in the past on your original drive, Acer's recovery image will be lost. You could Open Acer's Care Center recovery app but it will probably give the same results. Bring your laptop to Acer Services in your country and they will be happy to reinstall the OEM OS and restore your latop to the factory defaults, Service fee in the Philippines for that is $25.

Just in addition and some advice to you, unless you have backed up the original Acer OS before and when your laptop was brand new, with the Acer Care Centre Backup installed onto your laptop, then you cant do a restore of the original Acer installed OS and all the apps that Acer installed. I've got the Acer Care Centre version 4.00.3042.0 for Win-11, which on my Nitro AN515-56 runs Win-11 and does not do what the “How to Create a USB Recovery Drive in Windows 10instructions say from Acer, as the new version directs you Settings > Accounts > Windows backup path that is the “Windows Backup and Restore Windows 7 in Control Panel” so you need to do a backup and restore that way.

Also there are other excellent backup and restore software’s which imo the best is the Macrium Reflect 8 which has a “Boot Menu option for system Image recovery” that is a very handy and quick alternative to a USB WinPE recovery separate type option to start the recovery from other backup software's, which I use and have also used the Windows Backup and Restore Windows 7 software and that works very well also for free while the Macrium you need to pay for.
