I am planning to repaste my laptop. Acer Nitro 5 AN515-44 (Ryzen5 4600h, GTX 1650) . It is almost 2 year and still no cleaning occur. I am planning to use Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut for thermal paste and Gelid Extreme. I wonder how much thickness I need for thermal pads for good conductivity into its heat sink? And can I get the exact dimensions of the VRMs and other components that has the pink stuff? Thankj you so much

Those measurements are not given by Acer in the AN515-44 SGs, you need to do it yourself and measure the appropriate thicknesses of the pads. The main goal is for you to make sure that the vcore chips where the pads are put and the cpu and gpu are all touching the thermal module evenly for efficient cooling dispersion of heat by the fans.

@CptMeliodas the thermal pad thickness for VRAM is 1mm. Just keep those thermal putty for other components as it is because the putty is reusable.

Thank you and have a nice day!
