    Hello!!

    @Davidak

Try to get the BIOS page.
    1. Turn OFF the unit.
    2. Press and hold the F2 key and turn on the unit.
    3. You will be in setup utility page.
    4. Once you got the screen release the F2 key.
    5. Tap on F9 key and hit enter key without changing the option.
    6. Tap on F10 key and hit enter key without changing the option.
    7. Your unit will restart by itself.

Check this T/S and post the result.

Windows won't boot because of rogue software in Startup, drivers or system corruption, IMO not the boot loader as you don't get the Message No bootable device found. So you have to run MSCONFIG (in Windows key+R) and disable all services and Startup apps (Clean Boot) as described by Microsoft. To boot to Safe Mode, when you get the Acer logo press Alt+10 and select Troubleshoot>Restart>F4 or 4>Safe Mode (or use your Windows USB Recovery stick):

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/how-to-perform-a-clean-boot-in-windows-da2f9573-6eec-00ad-2f8a-a97a1807f3dd

If you still crash go back to MSCONFIG and check the Base Video box in the Boot tab as you have display driver/card issues.

If you are able to boot to Windows now with very bad graphics, you have to first enable your services with MSCONFIG (no need to do that in Safe Mode anymore, leave the Startup apps disabled. If that boots OK you probably need to uninstall your display drivers but first remove the check mark for Base Video in MSCONFIG and reboot, if that crashes follow these steps

    https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000091878/graphics.html

Uninstall all GPU drivers (Intel and NVIDIA if you have 2 GPU cards), reboot to Safe Mode and run DDU again this time to look for stray old drivers (bottom DDU menu) and remove those too.

Last but not least is to restore your system image used to refresh your system at each boot and check the system files for corruption. Go online (check if Internet is working) and paste this in the command Prompt opened as administrator:

    Dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

Then paste this in the same Command Prompt window:

    SFC /scannow

keep re-running both commands till successfully completed and No integrity violations found.

    You should be OK now.
