Hi,
Sometimes I experience that settings in Nitosense are not always kept/saved and suddenly change to maybe what we can call "default" (or the like - the point is it changes by itself without I want it to)

It is as example the CoolBoost that suddenly is not enabled…. BUT also like example Battery saving/Balance (whatever it is called in English.. I translate directly from my own language which Nitrosense is in).. is not kept - (like for when on battery vs on power cord)….

ALSO: a bit more basically important…. In Acer Care Center (I only use this program for this funtion I talk about here in a sec).. I have in the Care Center enabled "battery life saving" - so it only charges to 80%.. BUT sometimes it forgets this setting and still charge to 100% (I can also directly see the setting is changed when this happens)…

I would alot like to see if somehow above 2 problems can be fixed… I believe there must be a solution… Below I will say a bit more including what my system is…..

Last time when I longer ago sporadically looked into this then… Then I think the general answer just was I should update my drivers and such (from Acer)… Which drivers that however might be?? (I ofc know where to find my drivers for my machine and already have those updated)…. But which ones (drivers) that it specifically could be for both problems and covers what I experience in Care Center AND in Nitrosense I have no idea what could be.. but also was some years since there came new drivers for my machine….

My system is - but here under important to notice I upgraded my Windows.. AND yes I really do mean UPGRADED to Windows 10 Professional (first) now I am on Windows 11 Professional…. I cant recall how it was regarding above 2 problems when I was on the Windows that was preinstalled (non Pro) on my machine (I upgraded quite near from start when I got the machine)…..

But my specific system is:
Windows 11 Pro
Acer Nitro 5 - AN515-55
(16GB RAM standard / Intel 10750H / Nvidia RTX 2060)

Hope much for a solution this darn thing has been buggin' me longer 🙋‍♂️

Thanks
René 😉

Replacing the ACER factory OEM Windows version with Microsoft generic Windows versions sometimes creates problems like this because the Windows system library files might be different upon which the Acer apps depend. You might try to disable fast startup which might resolve the NitroSense and AcerCareCenter issues. Open Control Panel. Search 'button'. Click 'change what the power buttons do' in left pane. Click 'change settings that are currently unavailable' near the top of the next pane. Scroll down and UNcheck the box for fast startup. Save settings.

Ok jack will try but for now ofc cant say if its a solution.. I prefer not to but will give it a try….. reason is because it happens "randomly" so will have to see over time… but have seen what u say and will try
