Hi all.

I was trying to look for references on dual booting linux using the Extensa line of laptops, but I couldn't find any. However, I was able to find some for other laptops that use the same UEFI Utility (such as the Acer Aspire E 15) that my Extensa laptop has. Are those procedures apply the same for my laptop?

The model is Extensa 215-32, with Windows 11 pre-installed. I plan to dual boot Linux Mint with it. Thanks in advance.

Yes, pretty much all modern computers use the same UEFI boot process, so Linux installs aren't an issue. Linux installs on the newest laptop models are sometimes short on drivers, just because it takes a while for driver ports to arrive in the OS. If you are purchasing a laptop for Linux work you might find it easier to get last year's model so yoou doon't have to go through the aggrivation of finding and building the latest drivers.
