Nitro 517-54-700X Is it normal for the CPU to only run between 1 and 3 percent?

I just bought this laptop. Nitro 517-54-700X. Works fine and has the i7-11800 and a 3060. Benchmarks are great 90 percent gaming,97 desktop and workstation. I have no complaints. Just curious about the NitroSense says CPU at -/+68c and the peaking around 74and3 percent load.

The GPU is -/+ 60c and 40 precent load, which will peak shortly to 90 at heavy loads

Is it common for the CPU to run very low.

I mostly play World of Warships.

Thanks in advance.

The cpu and gpu in your Nitro AN517-54-700X laptop is a perfect match and while running general tasks, the processor Intel Core i7-11800H will be utilized 100.0% and graphic card NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 will be utilized 100.0%. Utilization of Intel Core i7-11800H and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 in General Tasks with 1920 × 1080 (FHD (1080p)) resolution has no bottlenecks and getting a cpu 0% in NS means nothing as the cpu percentage will increase as you game this laptop..

As far as FPS this combination of cpu and gpu can run World of Warships game on 1920 × 1080 (FHD (1080p)) resolution with frames per second ranging from 36.6 FPS up to 197.1 FPS depending on game settings.

    •  On ultra settings this configuration can achieve from 36.6 FPS up to 65.1 FPS , with average around 44.4 FPS .
    •  On high settings this configuration can achieve from 70.9 FPS up to 126.0 FPS , with average around 85.9 FPS .
    •  On medium settings this configuration can achieve from 89.1 FPS up to 158.2 FPS , with average around 107.8 FPS .
    •  On low settings this configuration can achieve from 111.0 FPS up to 197.1 FPS , with average around 134.4 FPS .

@CharlieS CPU is used as needed; since you have a strong GPU it could be that GPU is doing the heavy lifting leaving not much work for the CPU, and this is very normal. You could try keeping taskmanager open on CPU tab, play game for some time and then check CPU utilization graph.
