Why is there no option to configure the DNS of IPV4 and IPV6 in my WIFI properties?

On my last laptop, Lenovo L340, I can configure the IPV4 and IPV6 protocol by going to the control panel > Network and Internet > Network Connections > WIFI properties. I tried doing that on my new Laptop, ACER Nitro 5. However, there are no options to configure the IPV4 and IPV6 protocol. I was planning to change my DNS to 1.1.1.1. Is there a fix to this? Thank you.

As you can see from the photo, IPV4 and IPV6 protocol options cannot be seen. Yes, even if you scrolled down, there are no options to configure IPV4 and IPV6 which I can do freely on my old laptop. So what is the problem here?

@Emmanigold it should be this one. I recommend you repair or factory reset the windows because of the text error.

Yes I uninstalled the NPCAP packet driver; I also tried uninstalling the driver and reinstalling it again. However it is still the same. Here have a look.

Uninstall (and don't reinstall) all 3rd party Network adapters in Device Manager and reset Windows 11 Network adapters (see link below):

    https://www.elevenforum.com/t/reset-network-adapters-in-windows-11.4513/

Go to Windows' Network menu, disable sharing, VPN, proxy and any other option, go to the advanced adapter menu>WIFI properties and disable all protocols except IPv4 and change DNS to Google's open DNS address. There may be some IPv6 Services that you have to disable also (keep it simple, till WIFI works then add options, also try your LAN cable, Ethernet see if that works):

Yeah I researched about this problem, it seems that it is about a corrupted system file, so I reinstalled my windows. It was alot of work since I needed to back up my files but hey it solved my problem. Thank you for your help
