Swift SF314-52G - Internal charging port damaged or charging cable damaged

Hello everyone,

I have a 2018 Acer Swift 3, product number SF314-52G, which is having trouble charging. I am 99% sure it's a result from damage to the internal hardware and not from the power cable but without a new OEM cable, I am unable to test it.

Can anyone help me find a replacement part for the internal power port and OEM power cable?

Thank you in advance!

There are two different DC-In cables for the SF314-52 models, one for the 45W and one for the 65W. I believe yours has a 65W power supply.

The jack is loated very close to the hinge on that side:

Awesome, thank you! I have the discreet gpu so it should be 65w. And it's a plug and play bit so no soldering, I appreciate your help!

No problem, it's a lot nicer to be able to answer this type of question since Acer allows a few of us access to the service manuals…

    Hi again,

I receievd the part from the link provided today and I realize now that it has a 45w marking on it. In your experience, does that make sense given that I ordered the 65w part number?

No, it should have a 65W marking on it if it's the 65W version. That being said I expect it will work anyway. I can't imagine the wires are too light to handle 65W of current.
