    Hello!!

    @loki2356

    It sounds like your laptop is experiencing thermal throttling, which means that the CPU or GPU is getting too hot and slowing down to prevent damage. This is often accompanied by the fans spinning up to maximum speed.Here are some steps you can take to try and address the issue:

    1.Check for dust buildup: Over time, dust can accumulate in the laptop's cooling system and block airflow. Try blowing compressed air into the vents to clear out any dust.

    2.Use a cooling pad: A cooling pad can help improve airflow to the laptop's cooling system and keep temperatures lower.

    3.Limit background processes: Make sure there are no unnecessary programs or processes running in the background that could be using up CPU resources and generating heat.

    4.Adjust game settings: Lowering graphics settings in games can reduce the load on the GPU and help keep temperatures lower.

    5.Undervolt the CPU: Undervolting involves reducing the voltage supplied to the CPU, which can help reduce temperatures. However, this should only be done with caution and after thorough research, as it can potentially damage the CPU if done incorrectly.

    Run a utility to see what temperatures you are getting when the frame drop happens.
