Is that OK for Nitro 5 AN515-44 laptop to discharge battery even while being completely powered off?

It doesn't really work this way, at least not in my Nitro 7 or Swift 5. Both cannot be shelved without topping off charge every few weeks.

Unfortunately this needs to be addressed by Acer - setting up USB not to allow power out when off is respected only for a short while and it reverts back to it. Also there is some power leakage somewhere (at least in my nitro 7 and swift 5) (design fault) that they leak power. 1.5-2 months of no use and these drain all the way from 100 to 0.

Yes. On Nitro, Swift, Predator - pretty much every single Acer laptop (1 swift, 1 predator, 2 nitro) I had and I have, this problem exists. Acer needs to update their motherboard/BIOS logic to handle this. Infact Asus too has this issue, albeit at a much lower rate. On the other 3 Dell laptops I have i do not see this issue.

Above observations were made with all these laptops tested with fully optimized windows, all recommended manufacturer updates, and all power out ports turned off, and nothing connected to any of the ports - cold power off state and put aside for at least 4 weeks.
