XB272 Monitor randomly goes black everytime I sit down

Now this issue is very very weird. I own a XB272 monitor and everytime I go to sitdown the monitor randomly goes black but comes back with DisplayPort showing on the top right. It appears this only happens when I have a bit of static electricity on me. but the monitor is sitting on a stand that is on a rubber pad. I don't understand what could be causing this issue. I called Acer support and they wanted to remote into my system which I don't allow any company to do so I knew it was a scam call center funny enough the number was provided to me from the Acer website. Anyone know whats going on

Hi @OnTheM4rc waiting for a better answer, if you mean sporadic shutdowns for a second of the screen where the DP symbol appears in the upper right corner, I understand that it is due to a check that Windows performs against the DP connection to verify the resolution, especially with high resolutions and high refresh rates, this also happens with HDMI connections but not almost imperceptibly.
