ACER Spin 5 SP513-53N How do I fix the missing audio caused by windows 11 update

ACER Spin 5 SP513-53N-70KD

Before lastest win11 Pro update audio output was working fine. After update no audio component available so no way to update drivers.

System information / Components / Problem devices / Intel(R) Smart Sound Technology (Intel(R) SST) Audio Controller PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_9DC8&SUBSYS_13091025&REV_30\3&11583659&0&FB This device cannot start.

Device Manager shows no open audio device or hidden audio device. No audio from speakers or audio jack. USB audio devices still work.

I tried uninstalling and no audio. Rel-installing update no change.

Sorry, I didn't mention in the OP. I ran all available troubleshooters .
I also tried reloading and/or adding audio drivers but the problem is that the original audio components are no longer recognized.

Hi

Your BIOS version 1.02 is 5 years out of date, update all your drivers here, don't download BIOS from 3rd party web sites. Acer only shows Windows10 x64 for your system, no windows11 drivers are available on this Acer Support site, if you upgraded (manually?) to Wndows 11 you may have drivers not compatible with your (W10) devices.

I had this issue, no microphone after windows 11 upgrade. it was fixed after downloading and running the Realtek Audio driver found on ACER.com site under Windows !0 dropdown. it took 2 reboots, 1 to unistall and 2nd to reinstall.
