Hi all, before wasting our money we would like to know if M.2 NVMe SSDs are working in the Acer Aspire E5-575-320P purchased in 2016. Secretely better known as: NX.GE6EH.014.
The slot on the mobo is M key so PCIe/ NVME.

80mm M.2 SATA SSD does function, but it is about time for NVME.

HWINFO64 gives the same output as the red squares in https://us.v-cdn.net/6029997/uploads/editor/zv/tbw8jrhtyvzu.jpg

SO:
Device Name:Intel Skylake-U/Y PCH - PCI Express Root Port #9 [A1/C1]
Device Class: PCI-to-PCI Bridge
PCI Express Version: 3.0
Maximum Link Width: 2x

EXCEPT SLOT IMPLEMENTED = NO

At the moment the SATA SSD is plugged in the M2 slot. Not sure if this has anything to do with that.

In the old HDD SATA slot is another SSD attached.

Did read this thread, but maybe have overlooked something :https://community.acer.com/en/discussion/497241/acer-aspire-e5-575-52jf-m-2-nvme-support/p1
