E5-575G-534G: window won't boot suddenly,tries all sorts

I bought a recovery usb to repair or restore even reinstall windows,none working.i attached error msgs ,is that means I am going to lose all my daughter's pictures in the c drive :(

I bought the laptop in Currys,I haven't been given any disks just plain laptop.

1st pic: I used No.7 as boot order ,unless I done it wrongly.

2nd pic: tried to reinstall windows on partition 3, not working.

5th pic ,check disk saying my drive C is raw? is that means my files all corrupted?

2nd pic from bottom,tried to back up files before delete the partition, errors again ,nothing to copy.

last pic, I changed boot order to window boot manager just to try, not working

IN SHORT ,MY QUESTION IS CAN I STILL RESCUE MY FILES IN DRIVE C?

AND HOW CAN I REINSTALL WINDOW 10 UNDER THIS CIRCUMSTANCES, STEP BY STEP MUCH APPRECIATED.

The mechanical HDD's magnetic reading & writing arm & head —- similar to a phonograph arm & stylus needle head —- probably started to make physical instead magnetic contact the spinning magnetic disk. Otherwise known as an HDD head crash. This is typically how HDDs fail especially in a mobile laptop that is sometimes subjected forces that may shorten the life of a mechanical HDD.

Hello! What is the exact model? Example AN515-55-5890. It is possible to recover the files. During windows installation, press the shift+f10 keys to open the command prompt. Then type NOTEPAD.EXE. You should be able to see your personal files. You also have the option to connect the ssd to another computer to retrieve your files.

Now, from running a fresh install of windows, what happens when you press alt+f10 before the acer logo?

You may be able to recover the picture filess by removing the Toshiba boot drive and connecting it to another computer's USB port using an inexpensive USB-to-HDD adapter like shown below. Curry's should have the adapters. Then copy the picture files over to the other computer. Then you're free to try to fix the HDD by more aggressive means but from your description, it may be failing and should be replaced with an SSD.

I might need to bring it to the specialist to do it then, the laptop bottom all screws in and I can't lift the bottom off once unscrew them.

You've got to remove the DVD tray screws. One in the middle in order to slide the tray out. And 3 hidden under DVD tray.

Yes, but Dell HDD capacity is likely pretty low, slower and less reliable than today's HDDs., Brand new 1TB HDDs and some SSDs are less than $40usd now. Probably not worth the effort of trying to use an antique or obsolete drive from the WinVista era..

I think you are right. btw I bought the recover media on Amazon not from Acer, and I didn't see the reset window funtion only restore and repair, is that any difference where did I buy the recover media from? Shall I get a proper one from Acer, I don't have other window 10 computer to download from Microsoft

Yes, usually a big difference. You probably got generic recovery media. You can get for free online direct from MIcrosoft. This is NOT the same as the ACER OEM factory reset media that's specific to your ACER machine serial number id (SNID) Please post the Amazon link where you got it from so we can check.

Recovery media no longer available from your Amazon link. Unless the HDD was already damaged, it's doubful the recovery media made it any worse. We can probably try to repair the HDD if the recovery media has a troubleshooting or advanced option in the boot menu.

Get back to this X : > command prompt screen. Then enter 'diskpart'. At the diskpart > prompt enter ' list volume' Post phone photo of result.

my laptop's hard drive completely failed due to electrical fault, get checked by the repair

If you have personal files on the failed drive, you might still be able to copy them onto another computer using an expensive USB-to-hard drive adapter like shown below. Usually less than $10usd.

now I think of it, I wonder if I have been using usb c port charging on my Google watch caused the electrical fault, because the USB c port not working anymore since the window not boot up.
