Why do you need a new charger? As chargers don't go wrong or faulty just like that., is there any other issues with your laptop. Your Nitro AN515-54 has a DELTA 180W - 19.5V 1.7x5 5x11 type charger/adaptor (see the highlighted caption below) and use the Acer part number for the charger below to get a new one, use the Acer part number on the right to search for a replacement charger/adaptor only, search for the official Acer parts retailers in your area for the DELTA oem type charger. I've also included the oem battery for your information.

Thank you very much this was very helpful. Also from what I know I've taken the laptop into a repair shop and there seems to be no damage to the laptop. The charging wire broke from being bent into the charging port.

Good I’m glad to help you out, and now I know thanks, but a good tech and a good repair shop has the ability to open those pressed on round charger plugs and repair and reconnect the wires and glue and tape them together so that they will work saving you money, there is only 3 wires and due to that plug moving all the time and that end plug being pressed on one or two of the wires breaks and the charger can’t make contact with the laptop to charge, anyway if you are computer savvy and you have some flux and solder and solder iron and you can have a go and try to fix this charger plug, as a spare charger is very handy and also saving the environment is also very positive.
