Aspire 5 Sound devices in device manager have CODE 52 No Audio, Bluetooth, Microphone or USB Audio?

I have Acer Aspire 5 (A514-54) with Intel(r) Smart Sound Technology. I use "Iobit Drive Booster" to update my drivers and 2 days ago I decided to update them like usual, but this time all my sound card was taken out and in the properties show an “Error Code 52” beside them in device manager. I've unistalled the drivers and reinstalled them. The only way i can get back (Audio, Bluetooth, Microphone and USB Audio) is by going back to January 2021 drivers. So, that tells me that theres nothing wrong with my sound card because everything works if i install old drivers for them, but if i update to the newest drivers, it cripples it. When it updates to the new drivers the “Sound” selection in the device manager that has (Bluetooth, Microphone, USB Audio and RealTek Audio) disappears. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!!!! According to Acer Support your model has the Realtek ALC255 soundboard/speaker:

This is the audio driver you should have installed:

I recommend you uninstall your present audio driver (Intel Smart Sound Technology OED) and download the Realtek driver or try to roll back your audio driver in Device Manager as the original Realtek may still be in you drivers DB. Do not use 3rd party software like Lobit Drive Booster but install only the drivers from the Acer Support site for your model (see link above). To get the RTK Audio Console for Windows11, better get this from the Windows Store under Audio Utilities, not under Realtek. For Windows10 you can use the one from the Acer Support page.

I'm sorry it's taken me so long to get back to you. The only way i can get the audio, bluetooth, microphone and USB audio to work is if i roll the driver back to then January 20, 2022 drivers, but when i roll the back it put an exclamation beside the bluetooth, microphone and usb audio in the Sound, Video and Gaming Controllers. It's making me think that somethings wrong with my audio hardware in the computer, but i'm going to try what you've told me to do first before i get to that resolution. Just stick with me until i fix this issue.

Uninstall the Intel Smart Sound… like I suggested earlier, these drivers are not for your audio card and Video sound driver is

Best to roll back all your video and sound drivers or do a System Restore to Jan 2 2022 (last year), type create a restore point in Search box and select System Restore.

I'm sorry. I haven't had the time to try your suggestion, but I will try it. Just been so busy here lately with work, wife and kids. When i do get the chance to do your suggestion, I'll let you know if it fixed the problem. Just leave our session open. I promise i'll get back to you on this. Again, Thank you for helping me!!!

Ok, I went into the device manager and uninstalled everything that had the name "Intel Smart Sound Technology." Then it wanted me to restart to complete the uninstall process. After the computer restarted it wanted to automatically install "Intel Smart Sound Technology BUS", so i went back into the device manager and uninstalled it again. After the restart i didn't get the message to install it like last time. I went to the acer website and downloaded the Realtek Audio Driver you suggested, then i went to Microsoft Store and downloaded the Realtek Audio Console. I installed the RTK Audio Driver successfully, then i installed the RTK Audio Console successfully. I restarted the computer and…… No matter how hard i try to get rid of the "Intel Smart Sound Technology" it will not do it. I unistalled all of it. I even done a file search for the "Intel Smart Sound Tech." and deleted everything that came up. The only good thing that's happened is, there's only 1 exclamation mark instead of 3 or 4 and it's only on the bluetooth audio selection. I'll leave you some pictures of everything so you can see what i'm talking about……

I uninstalled only the one with the exclamation mark beside it an restarted the computer. After the restart the exclamation mark went away and now everything is working and there's no more exclamation marks anywhere in the device manager. Thank you so much for helping me with this, because i wouldn't have got through this without your help!!!!

Acer lists 3 different BlueTooth adapter drivers for your laptop: Intel, Atheros or MTK, which BT adapter is in your laptop? Click on BT in Device Manager and expand the BlueTooth device like this:
