I have an Acer ex2519-c5nb n15w4 which I tried to upgraded the ram on. After upgrading I cannot even get a boot display.

I have tried changing back to the old ram, I've tried battery drain, reseating memory, cmos but cannot seem to get it to start up.

Won't start up from battery, only starts if power plugged in, but will display a second blue light if battery is plugged in so I know it is picking that battery up.

Laptop was working before the upgrade and now even If I set it back to original configuration I can't get it to display anything on boot.

I have tried an external display, the screen picks up that something is plugged in (ie it come out of stand by mode) but there is no display.

Any ideas

Try to dust the RAM and replace and check, if still have issue than remove the CMOS battery and wait for 2 minutes than place it back on.

Than try to turn to turn on thr unit

    Hi @Mike987

Make sure the RAM modules are exactly the same.

To find out what RAM is inside your laptop, run the following command (elevated Command Promp- open as Administrator):

wmic MemoryChip get Banklabel, Capacity, Configuredclockspeed, Devicelocator, FormFactor, Manufacturer, Serialnumber, Speed

When you installed the new RAM did you disable Fast Startup in Power Plan, disconnect the power adapter and Battery Cable to the motherboard? If not you may have bricked you laptop as the RAM module(s) had some charge.
