My camera appears to function but only shows a black screen. All the settings have been checked and everything is ok but still just a black screen. Microsoft support said they cannot help because there is no driver for Windows 11. How can I get it to work?

Caerma drivers haven't changed between W10 and W11, so it's unlikely to be the driver. There have been instances over the last few years where for some rason an internal or external USB port just garbles the data a bit and the end result is something not working right. That's why Larry is asking if it shows up in Device Manager without errors. Look both to make sure the camer is listed as a camera, without errors and look for unknown devices and perhaps take a picture for us that also shows the USB devices. Also, the camera on your model is an external camera that plugs into a USB port on the system, perhaps there's an issue with that plug…

Personally I'd do a RESET PC (keep your files) if any of the guide doesn't fix ?
