That purple line appeared a few days ago and I'm unfortunately 6 months out of warranty. I was thinking of opening up the device myself and hoping it's just something as simple as a disconnecting ribbon. This panel has had problems in the past of only half of it displaying but they always went away. So I'm hoping that I can just open it up and reseat a cable and be done with it. If anyone has any advice I'd appreciate it. I'm guessing if something is wrong with the board or panel I'm SOL.
I was hoping ACER would make an exception since I reported problems with it in the past, but I don't even have a repair place near me.
