PREDATOR PO5-640 Memory Upgrade and some Issues I can't enable to higher speed memory's in BIOS.

I recently upgraded my PO5-640 memory to 32GB XPG RGB sticks (2x16) and have some issues. Firstly, I can't enable to higher speed of the memory's in BIOS, but I kind of knew this already and is no big deal. Another issue is that even when my PC is completely turned off (but still plugged in the wall power outlet), the memory sticks RGB glows! It seems there is power going into the memory sticks! The only way to turn off the RGB on the memory sticks is to unplug the PC which is not easy for me because I use a UPS.

I asked the seller of the RGB that there might be some options in the BOIS that allows memory power to turn off while PC is off but can’t seem to find such settings in the BOIS (picture attached).

Hi @Alijoh If you disable the "Wake Up" are the modules still on?

I understand that it is not related since it affects the USB for keyboard and mouse, but you can try waiting for a better response.

Hi. What do you mean by “Wake Up”? Do you mean the sleep mode? In sleep mode or wvn when the PC is turned off the memory modules are still on and fully glowing.

Doesn't the memory come with software for the RGB functions? You should use that to set the behavior you want. The BIOS won't know anything about third party memory products.

Alijoh i was searching the manufactures website and it says this about the rgb memory you bought.

Set the RGB lighting the way you want it. Choose from different effects (static, breathing, and comet) or sync the lights with your favorite jams via Music Mode. All this can be done through RGB control software from all the major motherboard brands.

the acer MB doesnt have controls for this as far as i know so that is probably why its always on and im shocked it even lights up most need a hub for theres to work so it is odd.

No, there is no dedicated software from XPG unfortunately. They say you can use major MB brands to control it (MSI, Asus, Gigabyte) but when I tried the Fusion 2 from Gigabyte, my PC crashed! So I can only see 1 mode of RGB on the memories and have no control over it.
