Acer Predator Helios 300 How do you permanently disable the start-up sound in the BIOS?

I've had this problem since I got the laptop almost 2 year ago. The start-up sound is loud and annoying so I turned it off in the BIOS as well as the animation. It's cool and all but I really don't want to sit through it every time I boot up the thing. After maybe three start-ups the laptop just decides to reset my BIOS settings and I get jump-scared by the bloody vacuum that someone decided to record and play at start-up. I've reset my settings at least 2 dozen times and sometimes if I restart the laptop within 10 minutes of changing the settings it resets. Please help me. I beg. Everyone turns to look at my airplane taking off every morning at the office. It's embarrassing

What is the exact model? Example PH315-52-5890. Is there such an option in the bios?

It's an Acer Predator Helios 300. Yes that is the option that I have repeatedly turned off as well as a drop-down option that toggles just the sound on/off.

If Windows Update decides you need an update to the BIOS, it will set things to a different default and you will have to reset them back to factory, then do your tweaks as wanted, but I can't think of an y other reason the BIOS settings would change by just rebooting, unless of course you didn't save when you exited the BIOS. Which PH3 model do you have? It's on the same sticker as your serial number and should be something like PH3xx-xxx-xxxx.

In Windows 11, go to Settings, select System, select Sound, scroll to and select More Sound Settings. A window appears named Sound with 4 tabs, click on the Sound tab. The window refreshes, then locate and uncheck the Play Windows Startup Sound checkbox.
