I have reinstalled Realtek drivers from Acer website and also tried to use Windows High Definition Audio but cannot get my sound back even used Microsoft Tech Support who reinstalled drivers and gave up. What Do I do? Never had this problem on Windows 10. Microsoft say it is a driver issue to sort with Acer.

When you bring up sound settings, what does it say you are using for your output device? What is the volume set for that device?

I'd go to RECOVERY in settings and do a reset (keeping your files) providing that your speakers are OK and plugged in to the correct jack.
