I've recently installed a new RAM stick for my Aspire A514-54

it's a 16GB 3200Mhz but memory only shows 2133mhz

and in WMIC the speed of both the onboard RAM is 3200mhz but it has a configuredclockspeed of 2133mhz

is there anyway I change the configuredclockspeed ?

Acer doesnt support it I'm afraid :( , they only run the ram at the JEDEC speed of the set

The 3200 Mhz is the Clock Speed (double) this is actually only1800 Mhz so your 2133 Mhz is not bad for Dual Channel but you should be able to get 3200 if the 2 DDR4 modules are exactly the same (duplicates)

Plug in your power adapter and turn off all Anti virus programs that will increase your speed, you may also have programs running at the background like Office, close those too.😉
