Hello,

Acer update was interrupted.

Following, turning on the laptop results in a brief spinning of the gpu fan before it turns off (gpu fan). Keyboard lights up (backlit, not on fire).

The various key combinations I've tried which were supposed to shift graphics driver and what not had no effect nor sound output.

Connecting a bootable Win11 media to somehow repair or recover has no effect. No boot media detected, continuous black screen.

Laptop does not reach Windows, does not reach BIOS. There is only black screen and no obvious way out of it.

I assume I need to find the correct drivers and attempt to reflash the board but I can't figure out which update I'm supposed to flash. None of the availible ones were released even the same year as my laptop decided to patch it. I have read that these manual bios updates can be dangerous. What are the risks and how to avoid them?

All input appreciated

    Hi @Rhew

My advice is to turn in your latop to an Acer Service point, if far away you can ship the latop if you pack it properly. If the warranty is still valid there will be no charge from Acer to reinstall latest OS, drivers and firmware or a small fee. This will save you days of frustration and wasted time😉
