My nitro 5 laptop has a base speed of 2.30ghz and turbo boost up to 4.6 ghz. Would it be possible to limit the turbo boost to 3ghz? It just reaches temperature like 90°C when play certain games and I dont think that is safe for like 3-4 hours.

Turbo boost can't be regulated as its a fixed setting by Intel, you need to set your games properly and use either the NVidia GeForce Experience for games or if they are not on that software then you need to readjust to the games beat settings, this includes if you have an AMD gpu and make sure that your laptops vents are clean, cpu/gpu are repasted if they were not done for 12 months, as all this will assist in reducing temps.

don't worry with the temperature, that's natural especially if you are running heavy games, coupled with opening many websites in tabs or has many running/autostart applications.

open Nitrosense, set the fan control to MAX and mode to PERFORMANCE. (fans' rpm must be 7600 or above)

If my answers/solutions help you, please consider hitting "Like" and "Yes".

    Regards and God speed 😉
