I brought an acer aspire 7 with i5 12th gen processor and gtx1650 graphics.it worked fine till now but for some reason I had to switch to windows 10 from windows 11. After switching to windows10, everything worked fine but my touchpad gestures were not working. I tried uninstalling the driver but nothing changed. I tried updating the driver but touchpad driver for windows 10 is not available on acer website. Moreover, nothing is appearing other than sensitivity in touchpad settings. What should I do in this situation?

Hi,
Could you please post the full model name of the laptop, like A715-xx, in the meantime, go to BIOS screen and move to Main tab, check whether the Touchpad is in Advanced mode, if it's in Basic mode, switch to Advanced or I2C mode.

This not appeared at first but when I went into bios again and pressed ctrl+s, then my touchpad option appeared and i changed it from P2S to I2C and my gestures started working. Thank you for the bios advice.
You are welcome 🙂
