So I've been playing COD BO2 for like an hour right now and i feel alot of fps drops and i feel concerned, I have a 3060 and a i9 12900h, oh btw I'm playing it unplugged from the charger and i know it performs better plugged but i want to ask if i make my gpu and cpu use more of it's power will the game be smoother? I just find it concerning to have my laptop gpu and cpu go over 3500 + rpm since my cooling pad hasnt arrived yet plus i just dont like the loud noise it makes aswell

Install Navia GeForce Experience software as this software has the best and ultimate NVidia settings for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 and many many more games, also go to NVidia Control Panel Program Settings and set this game and all your games to High-performance NVIDIA processor and also make sure that you have installed the last NVidia games driver for your RTX-3060 as all this will make COD BO2 and all NVidia supported games perform at their ultimate and best performance on your laptop without any fps drops, for all unsupported games use their ultimate settings from the web.

that's normal since you are on battery power only, not plugged in.

you can set your nitrosense to max and performance (rpm becomes 7000 and above - loud noise)

you can use headphones to lessen the noise.

my advise to you is to plug your charger while playing games and turn on the Battery Charge Limit in the Acer Care Center (80 percent only to extend the battery life cycle)

If my answers/solutions help you, please consider hitting "Like" and "Yes".

    Regards and God speed 😉
