Acer Predator Helios300 CPU throttle While gaming, CPU temp is always around 95C

Hi guys,

My laptop is fairly old already (PH315-51), with CPU: i7 7700HQ.

While gaming, CPU temp is always around 95C and therefore getting throttling more often than I'd like. My question is ... is it hopeless situation(bad design) or is there anything I can do.

What have I done to prevent throttling:

1. Using ThrottleStop: Undervolted CPU cache&core (-60 mV, so its stable) and disabled CPU overclocking (running at 2.8GHz).
2. Repasted the CPU and cleaned the fans from dust.
3. Using PredatorSense to maximise fan speed.

Is there anything else I could do ? I'm okay using only 2.8 GHz (can go up to 3.4), since games run good, but the overheating CPU gives me too much throttling which makes gaming experience just awful.

Raise laptop about an inch above a hard surface taking care not to block the air intake and exhaust vents. This often yields up to a 5*C drop in temps.
