Why won’t my chromebook charge? It randomly stops charging and I can’t get it to charge

I’m on my second charger for my chromebook. It randomly stops charging and I can’t get it to charge no matter what I do. I’ve cleaned both ports and checked to see if anything is broken and nothing is damaged. I’ve had this chromebook for about 2 years now and it was only manufactured in late 2020. If anyone knows why this is happening, please help me!!

Does your laptop work or does it turn on, as its a bit hard to advise you exactly what the problem is. With a charging issue, your laptop needs to be checked by a technician if there are any circuitries that are shortening out or are burned out in this laptop charging stages, this could be either a capacitor or a mosat or it could even be a faulty eDP cable that has shorted out causing all these charging and power on issues.

Which Chromebook do you have? When it's having the issue does the charging status light come on, which color and does it blink fast or slow?
