Acer Nitro 5 17.3" QHD 165 MHz (AN517-55-715X)

I have a 17.3" Acer Gaming laptop that was manufactured in less than a year, April 21, 2022! This model was only released in the Netherlands! The User Manual I have downloaded in Acer Netherlands web is written in Deutch. When you type on google Acer Nitro 5 AN517-55-715X, yes including its product number or model number nothing will appear. Even in this community web when I type its model number nothing appears on the search. Going to the Acer Netherlands web, I need to use Google Chrome to translate the page in English. This one is a rare model of the Nitro 5.

Can anyone give me a little help here?

My question is will my Acer Nitro 5 AN517-55-715X take in a DDR4 3200 MHz 64GB memory or only up to 32GB? Can I insert a DDR5 Memory or only DDR4?

Can I install 2 NVMe M.2 in this laptop?

What memory brands is compatible with this 17.3" gaming laptop because I know that not all brands will be compatible with this.?!

Hi,

You can upgrade memory up to 64GB with DDR4 3200MHz SODIMM modules but you can not use DDR5 modules, also consider buying modules with JEDEC profiles, the list you have mentioned all have XMP profile enabled, you can try them at your own risk, they may work or may not run at 3200MHz, that's why I suggest you buy memory with JEDEC profiles.

As for the M.2 SSD, yes, you have two slots, you can install M.2 NVMe Gen 4 SSD in the first slot and install a NVMe Gen 3 SSD( as you have RTX3070 Ti graphics you may use a Gen 4 NVMe SSD) in the second slot.
