Aspire a115-31C0VY I want to upgrade the on board 4gb of ram, unable to find the right information.

Hi I just get a Acer Aspire a115-31-C0VY for my kids, I want to upgrade the on board 4gb of ram, I'm unable to find the right information for this, some say that it's impossible for this model som say it's possible, I just open the case and it have a ddr4 slot with noting on it, I want to put the maximum working memory if I buy a memory card, I saw an anwser on the source web site that say that adding 16 gb are possible, on your community some with an other edition of the a115-31 said that even with a 16 gb ddr4 sodimm the laptop only show 8gb more...

Could you please help my with that??
