Hello, i have the following notebook for a couple of year now.

Battery life was never as advertised, however it has reached a point where it will completely loose it's power if closed or at sleep.

(for example overnight).

During normal use, it can still last a couple of hours.

So i wonder if there is a replacement battery or some other method to find out what's wrong.

cheers

Greg

It seems to work so far, thanks!

However the battery life generally feels a bit limited.

Any idea if i can replace the battery. I read somewhere that in some models it is not possible.

How can i find that out?

    cheers

Yes, you can replace the battery. This video will help you.

Acer Spin 5 (SP513-54N) - disassembly and upgrade options

Also check the battery wear. To do that, download hwinfo and have a look at the wear level of your battery at the left side of the smart battery menu.
