So my screen is like shrinking from around the edges

So first of all, this has nothing to do with resolution/scaling settings etc... if it were I would have already solved it

I will rather you people see then let me explain since I am bad at it. oh and also I haven't damaged the screen at all this happed randomly on a usual random day, don't know what caused it.

don't mind the dust

I only started to see this on below task bar at first and then I started to notice it all around the edges... Also I cant tell if its like shrinking my display day by day or that if its stucked like that.. its kind of hard to tell, one more thing I can see this lines even after powering of the laptop but its barely visible.

I can assure that it wasn't like this when I brought this laptop, and I have not damaged it in anyway.. I have seen some post on reddit of people having similar issues as mine..

some help would be greatly appreciated.

If you're referring to the ~1mm gap between the bezel edges & screen edges (highlight with red lines below), that is probably because the bezel used in this series must acccomodate and not cover any active edges of other screen options that might be used with slightly bigger dimensions than yours. Accordingly, the active edges of your screen end just before the gap.

If however, you claim the gap wasn't there when you first got the machine, then I suspect the bezel itself is actually getting less wide and shrinking away from the active screen edges. Heat shrinking is common for many plastics.
