@john47gang I can see that this model is equipped with 1TB HDD from the factory. You can upgrade with a SATA M.2 SSD to get a better Windows and application loading time

You have a 1TB HDD in your laptop, I would suggest you get a M.2 SATA SSD and migrate your HDD contents to it and use as the boot drive, it will speed up your laptop.

I previously inquired about M.2 drives and found out this model only takes a SATA drive the same speed as the SSD SATA drive I replaced the original with.
Fire up Resource Monitor and take a look at memory use and disk use when slow and when running normally. If you are reaching the limits to the memory it will swap applications out to the disk, which slows things down a bunch, even with a SSD. In that state you should see the memory use high and disk at 100% or close to it.
