My Acer Nitro 5AN515-44 R28 has recently displayed the "No Bootable Device" error, what should I do?

This is happening after the last win 11 update, and also, I already bought the SSD, does inserting the SSD fixes the error?

What is the exact model of your Nitro 5, and what do you mean by "I already bought the SSD, does inserting the SSD fixes the error?" as a new SSD boot drive will only work if Win-11 OS is installed onto the new SSD drive and there are no other problems with your laptop. First try this Acer fix "No Bootable Device" Error Message"

As the "No Bootable Device" could be from numerous sources but first try to do a Hard Reset of your laptop by turning the laptop completely and taking the back cover off, disconnect the main and bios batteries, take the ram out and then short pins + and - of the bios battery plug at the motherboard, leave all components disconnected for 15min and reconnect and reboot and see if the laptop boots.

If the above doesn't work then you could have problems in these areas like below, see this guide of how to repair all the below issues here.

    • Faulty boot drive (which is the main causes of this problem)
    • Incorrect boot order
    • Wrong boot mode
    • No active partitions
    • Corrupt boot sector

And by SSD I mean that the laptop came with HDD and I recently bought a SSD, and I was wondering if changing the drives would fix the error
