If I replace my Triton 500 (pt515-51 2060 ) screen with a gsync screen, will i get gsync?

So my triton 500 screen recently started glitching on me. I want to order a replacement. The original screen isn't Gsync enabled. If i replace it with a 15 inch Gsync laptop screen from the higher model that has Gsync, will it work ?

I think it wouldnt work as i think those didnt use Optimus / a mux to swap between card the and iGPU

If the screen works a little bit, you could have a nosey to see if when you run a game in task manager there is use on the iGPU under the copy buffer, if there is the screen wouldnt support gSync

If there isnt, it may work as its just a display port connection, but ive not done much with lappy screens so dubious!

Replacing a normal screen with a Gsync screen will not enable you to use the Gsync feature on your laptop. Because its not about the screen its about the graphics card which the laptop uses.
