Hi,

I have my bought my acer swift 1 about 2 years ago and now it refuses to power up.

I have tried the battery reset multiple times to no avail, the laptop does indicate that the battery is fully charged but it's still not turning on.

The last thing the laptop was used for was printing after that i closed the laptop(closed the screen, not turn of) and next thing i know it won't power up anymore.

The model of my acer is SF-114-33-P0U2.

First unplug the charger and press and hold the power button until all lights are off on the laptop. Than take a something which is thinner than the paper clip and put it inside the battery reset pin hole and press and hold it for 30 seconds.

There is a button inside the pinhole , so make sure when you use something thinner than a paper clip and when you press inside the pin hole you will hear a click sound.

When you did the reset did you go through the full procedure? With the laptop off and everything, including the charger, disconnected press and hold the button for 15-30 seconds. Release the button and wait a few minutes, that allows residual electricity to bleed off. Put only the charge back in and wait until you see the full battery indicator. Then and only then try turning it back on.

i tried all that and still nothing, also after following all the steps the battery indicator goes steady blue after like 5 minutes and that happens every single time.

OK, so the issue likely isn't a problem with the battery. You have done a full power cycle when you did the battery reset so it's not just stuck in a sleep mode. The next step it to try an external monitor connected to the HDMI port on your Swift SF114-33. If you get a display on the external monitor then we can start trying to diagnose a display problem, if you get nothing on an external display then we need to dig deeper into the motherboard and POST.
