Hello, I have Aspire E 15 [E5-553G] laptop. I am trying to set up Oracle Virtual Box, but keep getting an error saying AMD-V is disbled.

Using AMD-VwithRVI_Hyper-V_CompatibilityUtility, I am getting the below message. BIOS is updated to the latest that is available for my laptop model.

Could anyone please help me enable AMD-V so I can proceed to create VMs in Oracle Virtual Box.

System Manufacturer Acer

System Model Aspire E5-553G

System Type x64-based PC

System SKU Aspire E5-553G_109F_1.31

Processor AMD A12-9700P RADEON R7, 10 COMPUTE CORES 4C+6G, 2500 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 4 Logical Processor(s)

BIOS Version/Date Insyde Corp. V1.31, 28/03/2018

SMBIOS Version 3.0

Thank you.

Sorry. If you press Ctrl+S in the latest BIOS menu to reveal any hidden options but still don't see an Advanced tab or virtualization options, then the mainboard likely doesn't support 64-bit virtualization even if its 9700P CPU does. Not unusual for mainboards manufactured more than 5 yrs ago with newer backward compatible CPUs.
