Hello, I'm struggling with the problem for the second day.
I catch various blue screens that are directly or indirectly connected to the videocard (GTX 1050):
VIDEO_DXGKRNL_FATAL_ERROR,
DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION,
And more rare when exiting the PCI-E GPU-Z test: VIDEO_MEMORY_MANAGEMENT_INTERNAL.
What was I trying to do:
a) Reinstalling all drivers(Intel, Nvidia)
b) Installing the recommended ones from the acer website
c) Reinstalling Windows
d) Resetting and after downgrade bios firmware (1.28 to 1.26)
e) Removing Intel drivers and keep Nvidia
f) Resetting battery
g) Turning off fast startup in windows
After all this, the problem is present. Basically, the blue screen is called when you launch a game or the Nvidia control panel.
BUT: What is perhaps important, minecraft works quite well, apparently because of OpenGL.
I hope for your help, I almost gave up.
