I am trying to update my CPU from a i7 8700k to a i9 9900kf and it will not run with the new CPU in, I have narrowed it down to a BIOS issue but cant find a BIOS update for my motherboard.

You must have the wrong mobo you will need a mobo with the Z390 or Z370 chipsets that can run the i9-9900K cpu, as the "K" in the model's name of the i9-9900KF means it's an unlocked processor that supports overclocking. You will need a motherboard with the Z390 or Z370 chipset to support CPU overclocking.

There are different mobos that run different cpu's on the PO5-610, that is why your i9-9900K does not work, as these cpu's were fitted to top of the range PO5-610 desktops and its not just on bios. The only solution is to get a Z390 mobo and fit that to your desktop and adopt the PO5-610 case to an EATX, ATX, mATX.

It's not a BIOS issue, your motherboard is designed for 8th gen CPUs and you are trying to put a 9th gen in. That won't work.
