Yes. Right click a blank space on the desktop. An Intel GPU control panel manager and an nvidia GPU control panel manager should appear. You might be able to disable the Intel GPU so that the nvidia GPU is used for the laptop screen. Alternatively, you can try temporarily disabling the Intel GPU in Device Manager display adapter folder.

@bubaraba those settings are for the external monitor only. You can not make them appear without connecting an external monitor.

Please remember to include @AnhEZ28 when you want to reply back to my comment so that I can check your response.
Thank you and have a nice day!

I bought the same laptop and came with Win11Home. I tried many things but there is no way to get the RTX 3050Ti to work with the laptop's display. Read comments that claim the laptop will use it when required which may be true for other models but not true for this one. A plain test of downloading an RTX demo from nVidia will fail to launch even if assigned the RTX in the control panel. Task manager shows the Intel GPU in use all the time while the RTX sits idle. So much for a “gaming laptop”. Good thing I didn't buy it to play games but I can see many disappointed by this behavior since the nVidia GPU can't be used without an external display, so pretty useless IMO. Knocked a couple of stars in my Amazon review.

Yes, but it may also depend on which internal display waa installed. Some sub-models with lower-priced displays don't support the frame rates and resolutions that the 3050 is capable of, so the integrated GPU is used instead.

Got the 1080p @144Hz. Anyways, if I'm able to pick the resolution and refresh rate in my desktop the same should be true for a “gaming” laptop. It is not as if the 3050Ti isn't capable of lower resolutions and refresh rates. Defeats the purpose of playing on the go if you have to carry a monitor with the laptop. Like I said, good thing I didn't buy this for playing games. Bought it to do 3D scans which it does well thanks to the USB 3.2 ports. Pretty lame implementation of the graphic capabilities IMO.

If you're sure that you have the 144Hz FHD screen, then it should work at 144Hz. There are lower rate FHD screens in this series. If it doesn't work, then I'd return it to the vendor for a refund or exchange.

I know I'm new to this forum and you don't know me, but thanks for trying to help. I know my way around computers since I am an EE and also a programmer. I know what I'm talking about. To make things easier there is also a big sticker with “full HD 144Hz” right on front. Not going to bother returning it since it is doing what I bought it for and it is fast, which is why I picked it. Besides it is not an issue of refresh rate which is 144Hz but of the RTX being inactive and the Intel GPU being on all the time. Just disappointed like I said that the RTX is basically useless and I'd rather have that handling my CAD software instead of the Intel graphics. Did I get a lemon? Perhaps, that's probably why it was cheap. If not then Acer should better advertise it pinpointing the limitation of the RTX working ONLY with an external monitor (did try that)

Yeah, I understand. But that sticker can be deceptive without the word “screen” at the end. Because it may only refer to the RTX capability — which it obviously has. 3rd party utilities can identify the FHD screen that's actually inside without pulling it apart. If it actually had an FHD 60Hz screen using the integrated GPU and it was mine, I'd probably return it pronto to the vendor for a refund. Because that sticker strongly implies a standalone 144Hz laptop gamer. But it certainly doesn't seem to be. But, it's not mine. So your decision to keep it.

Like I said, thank your for trying to help but I'm keeping it for the 3D scanning. Don't really want to play anything on this small screen. I'm an old guy :P I do have a desktop with dual displays running a Ryzen 7 5800X3D with 48GB of RAM and an Oculus Rift S for my gaming needs (RTX 3060). The laptop is really to make my 3D scanner mobile. I already ran out of things I can bring to the desktop to scan and the scanner just doesn't like long USB 3 extension cables even when they are the amplified (hub) type. I think its power supply is pretty picky on what it gets from the USB 3 port and even a minuscule drop in what it expects and the scan rate becomes a slide show and useless. I've only been successful with its original cable and they don't sell any longer ones I guess for this reason.
