Hello, I'm sorry I don't speak English well.

I have an ACER SWITCH 10E (SW3-013) tablet.

Windows 10 tablet + keyboard flash disk + 1TB disk.

I replaced the hard disk which works perfectly with an SSD, it works, but when I want to use the original WD BLUE HDD hard disk on another computer, it asks me for the original manufacturer password.

I specify that I have access to the hard disk on the Acer Switch, I can add files, delete them, format the hard disk, ...

When the hard disk is placed in another PC I have this message "HARD DISK SECURITY HDD LOCK PASSWORD"

I don't have the hard disk visible and if I want to delete the partition it tells me that the disk is write protected.

So I would need the original manufacturer password, I tried 0000 and 000000

Why a password on this product I do not understand? It is a non-professional product, the protection seems exaggerated to me and prevents the disc from being used elsewhere, what an aberration!

Thanks a lot for your help!

There is no password from the manufacturer, you must have added one at some point, or the drive is corrupted in such a way that it thinks there is one.
