Bought a new aspire C27 1655 that came with wireless mouse and keyboard. However, none of the devices connects to the computer. I had to buy an extra wired keyboard and mouse in order to get started and configure Windows etc.

nb! There was no ”dongle” in the package.

tried to change batteries (did not work).

pairing bluetooth device does not work either since the PC cannot detect the mouse/keyboard. I am running on Windows 11.

Any suggestions?

thanks.

The dongle is usually inside the mouse. You also usually have to install batteries in both.

Can you please unplug any external usb devices connected to usb ports. The keyboard and mouse might start to work properly.

Try these basic steps as you are using a Acer PC.

    Turn off the computer.

Unplug all the devices and cables including power cable.

Press and hold the power button for 45 seconds.

Connect all the cables back.  Please connect the power cable as the last one.

    Turn on the computer

    Tap del

    Go to bios

press f9 - Load defaults - press yes

press f10 - save the changes - press yes

Computer should load the windows ..

Now please check the keyboard and mouse . It should work fine.

thanks. Found the dongle next to the battery under the mouse lid. The installation guide that came with the computer did not mention this (looks more like ”plug-and-play”). I normally use Mac computers, and wireless components usually connects without any manual installation steps, so I was a bit confused here. Anyway, problem solved.
