Acer Aspire 7 715-51g The issue is that while gaming Is this a bug?

Hi, I own an acer aspire 7 with i5 1240p and an rtx3050. The cpu is rated for turbo power of 64w and long term power limit of 28w. The issue is that while gaming, i have noticed that cpu initially stays at around 28w and then dips to around 15w severely impacting performace. This doesn't appear to be a thermal throttling issue ,since all temps are well below the max, but a power throttling issue of some sort. I have also seen a youtuber talking about this in the acer aspire 5 which has the same chip and he solved it by locking the mmio power throttling in throttlestop. The mmio pl1 on my laptop is also set to 15w. I don't know if i should lock this power limit myself if it's a bug on the part of acer. Any insight on this issue will be helpful. Thank you

I have the exact same problem. Getting some terrible performance, especially while gaming - support didn't help either.

The support won´t help because it´s a design problem. I found out that if I cool 2 chocke near the RAM with cooper heatsink and also add more heat sink to the VRM, the temperature will not throttle to 15W. This was done on purpose.

I have the same issue with this laptop. It starts with 28watts for 2, 3 minutes then comes down to 15watts. It drops the fps significantly. It must be done on purpose. But don't know why.
